Mt Pleasant Housing In June 2009, Tri-County HDC closed on the financing and commenced construction of Phase 1, of a planned 25-unit single-family development. One showcase home is “Near Zero-Energy” design. This home, as well as four others were completed at the end of January 2010, and are listed with ReMax Realtors, with three sold. In fall 2011, construction of five (5) additional homes was under-way with an anticipated Summer 2012 completion. Financing included City of Harrisburg’s federal “HOME” funds, Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, Dauphin County Affordable Housing Trust Fund, PA Department of Community and Economic Development, Stabler Foundation, and Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh funds. In 2011, financing was completed for an additional five (5) homes. All homes are for-sale to owner-occupants earning not more than 80% of the Area Median Income. |
